Spring Flower Card Tutorial

Directions:

Step 1: Create a card base 7" x 5". Use the Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die and die cut with white card. Cut a single rectangle from the Tulip Time paper Collection 7" x 5" and glue it to the base of the card.

Adhere the Eyelet Rectangle die cut to the card using 3D Adhesive Foam Strips.

Step 2: Using paper from the Tulip Time Paper Collection die cut the Intricate Swirl Frames Die and adhere to the card base using Adhesive Foam Strips for dimension.

Step 3: Cut a piece of paper from the Tulip Time Paper Collection using a Petite Pocket Accents Die (both decorative dies) adhere them together and then adhere to the card over frame on the bottom using 3D Darice Adhesive Foam Strips.

Step 4: Cut a piece of paper from the Tulip Time Paper Collection using a Lacy Diamond Die. Using 3D Darice Adhesive Foam Strips, adhere them together and adhere to the card over frame on the top of card.

Step 5: To create the Oakberry leaves, stamp the Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp on white cardstock with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Fern Green, cut out with the coordinating die, shade use Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Leaf Green. Shape the leaves using the Blossoms Shaping Mold.

Step 6: Stamp the Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set onto white cardstock using Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Fern Green, cut out with the coordinating die, shade using Daubers and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Leaf Green. For wuick and EZ shaping, shape the leaves using Leafy Accents Shaping Mold.

Step 7: Stamp the Backyard Blossoms Cling Stamp Set, Garden's Edge Coneflower Cling Stamp Set, Rain Boots and Blossoms Cling Stamp Set with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Olive and cut out with the coordinating die, shade use Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Leaf Green and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Red Geranium using Daubers.

Step 8: To create Tulip flowers, Stamp Tulip Time Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock using StazOn Ink Pad - Black Cherry and cut using the coordinating dies. Color with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Red Geranium and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Leaf Green using daubers. Place the flowers in the Tulip Shaping Mold and spritz with water. Run the mold through the diecutting machine, remove the flowers and allow to dry.

Step 8A: Layer the petals together using the hot glue gun making sure to offset them. Use a paper piercer to make a hole in the middle and pull through the green stamens. Add a little hot glue to the underside of the flower. Shape to closed tulip or open flower.

Using a paint brush, paint the flower with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter. Create a bouquet with the flowers and add the small leaves and flowers prepared in step 7. Adhere to Petite Pocket Accents Die using hot glue.

Step 9: To create Roses, stamp the Classic Rose Cling Stamp Set on white cardstock with StazOn Ink Pad - Black Cherry and cut using the coordinating dies. Color with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Red Geranium and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Leaf Green using daubers. You will need three petals for each flower. Place the petals in the 3D Rose Shaping Mold and spritz with water. Run the mold through the diecutting machine. Allow to dry.

Step 9A: Layer the petals together using the hot glue gun, making sure to offset them. Use a paper piercer to make a hole in the middle and pull through the green stamens. Add a little hot glue to the underside of the flower.

Using a paint brush, paint ready flower with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter. Create a bouquet with the flowers, add the small leaves and flowers prepared in step 7 and adhere to top of the card.
