Christmas Card Tutorial - Heartfelt Creation DT

I'm back today with my Christmas card tutorial for
Heartfelt Creation DT

Directions:




Step 1: First create the card base: score and fold a piece of white card in half. Use the Eyelet Rectangle & Basics Die and cut carefully on the folded edge. Cut a single rectangle from paper collection and glue it to the base of card.


Step 2: Cut a piece of paper from the Merry and Bright Paper Collection using the Eyelet Lace Frames Die and adhere to the card base using 3D Foam Strips for dimension.


Step 3: Stamp the Silent Night Scroll with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Coffee, colour using the same ink and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Sepia. Die cut using the image with the coordinating die and adhere to the card base using three layers of double Dots 3D Foam Circles for dimension.

Using a paint brush, paint with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter.


Step 4: Create a Merry Christmas sentiment: stamp the O Holy Night Cling Stamp with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Coffee, cut using the coordinating dies, colour using Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Garden Patina. Using a paint brush, paint with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter. Place onto the Silent Night Scroll using 3D Darice Adhesive Foam Strips for dimension.





Step 5: Create the pine needles: stamp the pine needle sprays from the Snowy Pine Village Cling Stamp and the pinecones from the Silent Night Scroll Cling Stamp (to place under each flower) with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Coffee and color using StazOn Ink Pad - Olive Green. Cut using the coordinating dies.

Using a paint brush, paint with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle Rajni Chawla's Frosting Powder.


Step 6: Stamp the acorn three times using Oakberry Cottage & Sentiments Cling Stamp with Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Coffee, colour using Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Coffee and Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Sepia. Cut using the coordinating dies.

Using a paint brush, paint ready acorn with Designer Dries Clear Adhesive and sprinkle Rajni Chawla's Crystal Clear Glitter, shape using Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.


Step 7a: Next create the flowers: Stamp onto the Art foam Paper with the Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set a few times using Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Garden Patina and die cut using the coordinating dies.


Step 7b: Colour using Ranger Archival Ink Pad - Garden Patina and StazOn Ink Pad - Olive Green.


Step 7c: Use a heat gun to heat the petals and then shape using the small ball tool from the Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit by pressing down in the middle of the flower. Layer the petals together using the hot glue gun making sure to offset them.


Step 7d: Make a hole in the middle pf the flower with the piercing tool and pull through the green stamens from the assorted Bead Stamens-Medium set. Add a little hot glue to the underside of the flower to adhere.





Step 7e: Sponge the petals with dries clear adhesive and sprinkle with Rajni Chawla's Frosting Powder. Take the prepared earlier pine needles and acorn and using hot glue, put this together.


Step 8a: Create the leaves using the Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp, stamping on white paper with StazOn Ink Pad - Olive Green, cut out with the coordinating die and shade using this same ink.




Step 8b: Shape leaves using Blossoms Shaping Mold.




Step 9: Decorate card with the flowers and leaves as shown. Glue it all down using a hot glue gun and your project is complete!
