Happy Saturday! Yay it's the weekend,
do you have some crafty plans for this weekend?
Why not incorporate these beautiful flowers into your projects this weekend.
I design for you step by step tutorial for you to make flowers with the Art Foam Paper! Are you a crafter who has bought some of this paper and haven't used it yet? Then why not get it out, dust it off and have some crafty fun with us and lets create something beautiful together.
Let's get crafting!
To make the flowers directions:
Step 1: Stamp the Large Sweet Peony Cling Stamp Set on foam paper with Staz On Teal Blue ink and cut using the coordinating dies.
Step 2: Color with your favorite colors amd medium. Ewelina has used Gallery soft oil pastels 241, 224 on hers.
TOP TIP: Choose darker/stronger brighter colours for using with the foam they give better results than lighter shades.
Step 3: Using the heat gun, heat the flower watching the magic happen until the flowers curls upwards. When the flowers starts to shrink move them onto the Molding Mat and press in the middle using a shaping tool
TOP TIP: Use a metal tool to hold the flower in place while heating to prevent the flower moving around.
Step 4: Adhere the Crystal Ultrafine Glitter to your flowers with the Dries Clear Adhesive and when dry adhere two or three flowers together, offsetting each layer as you adhere it. Pull through a stamen for the flower centre using the piercing tool from the flower shaping kit.
Step 5: Stamp the leaves using Classic Rose Vines Cling Stamp Set on white card with a StazOn Ink Pad - Olive Green, cut out with the coordinating die, shade using the same ink and shape.
Have fun making your flowers, there are so many uses for them! Don't they look amazing as a piece of home decor in this photo above?
Ewelina made this beautiful card with her flowers, let's continue on with the next part of the tutorial so you can make it too.
Step 1: Create a 6 x 6" card base using white card.
Step 2: Cut a piece of paper from the Butterfly Dreams Paper Collection 5 3/4 " x 5 3/4 " and adhere to the card base using Dries Clear Adhesive.
Step 3: Cut the Fleur Border Basics Die from white cardstock twice to create a beautiful shape.
Step 4: Line up another piece of the same patterned paper from the Butterfly Dreams Paper Collection with the plain edged die from the Fleur Border Basics Die set and die cut. Do the same with the other side and adhere to the fancy borders with dries clear adhesive. Trim to fit the card and adhere to the card base using 3D foam dots for dimension.
Step 5: Adhere your flowers, leaves and add Assorted Bead Stamens-Medium to decorate using a hot glue gun.
